How to apply new labor unit cost to posted capacity ledger entries?

We ran a simulation where in we changed our work center and machine center direct labor cost and overhead cost.

We wanted to apply this to a period of posted transaction.

We tried to run the adjust capacity to apply the new costs but it zero out all capacity ledger entries within the specified posting date.

Did we wrongly process or is there correct steps to do this processing?

if the production order has been finished, I don't think you could adjust the posted capacity value entries directly. you could try to use item revaluation journal to adjust the item valuation as needed
