Auto Assign Owner Based On Few Fields (Location maybe)

Hi we have few people who are just entering leads in crm but sometimes they forget to change the owner of the lead and our sales team missed out on those leads.

I want to do something so that this doesn't happen again and thinking of doing it by location parameter.

Like if when our crm guys enter a specific state/region while filling the forum of the lead then the owner of that lead would be automatically changed to a set person from our sales team.

Hi,

You can use a workflow. It will assign the lead to a team if some conditions are verified.

Let me know if you need more guidance to implement your workflow.

1. Navigate to Settings - Processes

2. Create new, type: workflow, entity : lead

3. Trigger on create

4. Trigger on field change (choose field related to location)

5. In the steps, add a condition step as if location = [choose location]

6. In the child step choose assign and then choose the appropriate user / team

7. Add additional steps as required.

8. Save

9. Activate the workflow.
