We currently use GP 2018 with Time Matrix time clock. Doe either of these Time Matrix have any functionality to track available time off, time taken, and time remaining? Right now, a paper calendar is used to track everyone’s vacation (approximately 60 shop floor employees). When we get to the current pay period, a Team Leader on the shop floor enters the VAC and PER time into Time Matrix.
For example-if EE 1000 requested vacation for 12/5-12/9, that isn’t entered into Time Matrix until at least 12/4, which is the pay period that this time off falls into.
We’re looking for something easier and more efficient to manage, and that we can also see at-a-glance how much time an employee has remaining, scheduled, etc. I would like to leverage any existing functionality within GP/Time Matrix, if possible, vs. using a different system or add-on.
