For same equipment, a company does both selling and renting.
How do I set up the Dynamics 365 so that sales team can handle both?
I am new to Dynamics 365 so I might be missing something essential here.. also if there is already a good App to handle both which would save time to set it up, feel free to mention or link :) And if you do post such a link, do they all need also Dynamics Business Central or is basic Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement enough?
To set a price for sales, I go to pricelists and add new, and then add new Price List Items, for which I set the Sales price, say 100 €.
I suppose, I could do a separate pricelist for rent, which have same products but pricing set to, say 3 € a day, but how to add that "per day"?
There is "timeunit" in top of that list, but there is only Hour available. I have added a Day to Unit Groups at Settings->Product Catalog->Unit Groups, but that does not appear in the list for the pricelist.
Also as still new to Dynamics 365, I have not yet checked how then to make this option available for sellers, meaning that they will either set the number of days in case of fixed time rental, or leave the days open for unknown time, or just a number of items if it was for sale, not rent.
