Printing on Dot Matrix printer does not adhere to printer settings

Posted on by 1,185

We are printing invoices to a dot matrx printer and are busy with an upgrade from Ax 2012 to D365FO.  We have successfully installed the document routing agent and we can see and access the Dot Matrix printer.  However, when we are printing, it seems like the printer specific settings (as set on the print server) are ignored and it is printing portrait.  The printer is installed on a network print server.  Even when we tried to install it as a local printer on a PC, the settings are ignored by D365FO.

There is no way to access the printer settings in D365FO anymore as with Ax 2012.  Does anyone had similar experiences and how this can be resolved?

Thanks

We are having same issue with Epson dot matrix printers (LQ-2190). Moreover, we are moving from on-premise environment to cloud environment. All works fine for the on premise environment. For the cloud the DRA recongnize the dot matrix printers on the print server but all print out are Portrait. Even we try to change the printer setting.

If someone can help will be good. Thanks
    David
