D365 - BPF - Issue moving between entities

Posted on by

When working v9.x, I can create a classic BPF that starts in the case entity, however, when I add a new stage to the BPF and assign it to either the Account or the Contact entity, the only Relationship options available are related to case hierarchy (i.e. Existing Case, Parent Case, Master Case). If I select any of these, even though the case has the customer contact set, I am unable to proceed or select an Account/Contact. If I use the "Mobile Task" style BPF, I can see the correct relationship, and select the related entity. Is this expected behavior? The BPF should be able to leverage the existing relationship and allow me to select the appropriate contact.

    Hi Greg,

The related entity should also have BPF enabled. So if you want to select Account or Contact, you need to enable BPF for these entities too.

You can refer the below for reference-

    Hope this helps.
