Credit limit error message is not stopping the sales order confirmation

Hi,

We setup the credit limit option, when we create the sales order, we are getting the credit limit exceeded error message but it is not stopping the sales order confirmation process.

If we enable the credit management checkpoint, the sales order confirmation is stopped, but the approval is moving to credit management hold list, we don't need. If customer exceed the credit limit we should stop in the sales order confirmation time.

Do we have any other option?

Hi Judy,

Thanks for your post.

The sale order will be moved to credit management hold list even if we use the blocking rules. I just want to show only error message, stop the user to confirm the sales order, no need to create the list on the credit management hold list.

From KB

"With Credit management enabled the Message when exceeding credit limit option, found in Credit and collections parameters in Credit tab, is only for Free text invoices. If you want to continue to block sales orders setup the blocking rules in Credit management."
