Hello Community,
Is it possible to transfer an inventoried item between two different items numbers? For example, we have one item that is ABC but we created a version 2 and called it ABC-2. We want to transfer the on-hand inventory from ABC to ABC-2. Is there a journal or module in D365 that will do this easily? Otherwise, what is the best way?

Yes, I just found that this is how a few employees have done it. I wanted to make sure if there was any other option within D365...either way thank you for confirming!
