Change Format on field

We have a number field that is populated with our customer ID. Because it's a number field it auto formats with the commas. I know we can update our personal settings to remove commas but while doing this it removes commas for all numbers even currency. Is there a way to only update the format on this field to remove commas?

Import managed solution and change the field properties.

Please read about this in detailed here - https://github.com/crmkonsulterna/zorro-masked-input

Then you can build PCF control as I mentioned earlier. You can check videos on that - www.youtube.com/watch

What version are you on? If it's latest cloud you can create PCF control that will display the data the way you want it to be displayed.

To add to Andrew's response, there is no way to modify the format of just the one field. Your options are to either use an additional text field, or to delete the current field and recreate it as a text field (but you'll lose the data in the current field when you delete it)

that is one option i knew about but were trying to figure a solution without adding a new field to the system with duplicate data.

    Hello,

Create string field and populate it with the CustomerID without applying formatting and show this field instead of "CustomerID" one.
