Hi all,

When  we want to export the Dynamics solution file we get the Error code-2147220970 with the title "Unexpected error". There is not that much information about why it failed. Based on the error file I can provide this information (other look quite like API keys):

<OrganizationServiceFault xmlns:i="">www.w3.org/.../XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/xrm/2011/Contracts">

  <ErrorDetails xmlns:d2p1="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/System.Collections.Generic">

Does anyone know what causes this error?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    This is a generic error which will not help you to investigate this issue.

    I would recommend to check Browser developer tool (Hit F12) Network tab for more detailed error.

    If still issue persist you can log support ticket with microsoft.

    Hi Yannick,

    As Bipin suggested there is nothing much details to investigate with given information. You may try to check if the export solution misses any dependency. We recommend to raise a ticket to us to check back end log. Thanks!

    You may possibly get lucky and get a little bit more info recorded in the Trace Log if you turn it on (Advanced Settings->Settings->System Settings-Administration Customization tab)

    Hi,

    Yes, we have been able after we raised a ticket with the customer support of Microsoft. The problem was the Dynamics app for Outlook 365. After it was removing it from the solution, it was possible to export the solution again.
