Move developer virtual machine to new host

How do I get my virtual machine to work on a new host? I copied my D365 F&O developer virtual machine to a new host, but it doesn't work there. When I try to launch D365 F&O, the browser says that it can't connect to the site. I see messages in the Windows Event Log saying /metadata operation failed after 5 attempts/ or something similar.

    Hi,
    There have been discussions about similar issues on the forums before, and you can refer to these old threads, two of which were posted on the ax forum about ax systems, but maybe they would be just as useful for FO systems, and one of the solutions mentioned in them is to check an Anonymous Authentication is enable on IIS, you can have a try:

    Whats does it mean you copied D365FO dev box to another host? All Tier 1 environments should be deployed from LCS/Power platform. Can you pl share what exactly you tried.

    I fixed it. The problem was that I just copied the VHD files to the new computer. I needed to export the machine and then import it on the new computer. My guess would be that when I just copied the VHD, the VM was restored to a previous state when the Batch service was not starting. That was because I had duplicated a class in my model, which resulted in the class being defined in multiple assemblies. That problem was fixed some time ago.
     
    @Deepak, the original VM was downloaded from LCS. I got a new computer and simply wanted to move the machine to that computer.
