UTM Tracking not working

So I decided to enable the UTM tracking feature today. Only to find it doesn't work. Anyone else having this issue? It looks like the parameters get added in some json in the url e.g.:

https://public-gbr.mkt.dynamics.com/api/orgs/example?target={/TargetUrl/:https://example.com/,/RedirectOptions/:{/1/:null,/2/:{/utm_source/:/Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys/,/utm_medium/:/email/,/utm_term/:/N/A/,/utm_campaign/:/zTest - UTM Tracking Test v2/,/utm_content/:/CPC-POD-2023-10-05-AWR/}}}&digest=Fe5eYMOab1T2GQqpMdRndzralYMUXGCK8G07IOJhekw=&secretVersion=a6751a3a834744298598bfc7d73b336f

But clicking the link doesn't append them to the url, I only a tracking fragment in the url e.g:

https://example.com/#msdynmkt_trackingcontext=f9446dbc-7af7-4ef4-92f6-4e9d7705762d
 
Note: I tested this via sending through a real time journey.
