Copy paste Journal batches and Journal entries in D365 F&O

Hello,

Is there a Feature which allows Users to do the below two functions in D365 F&O:

- Copy a Journal batch and re-use that same batch? Difference is the Journal batch number will be different but the Journal lines remain the same

- Within a Journal batch, Users can /copy/ an existing line and /paste/ the exact line with a different Voucher number?

I suggest you to use periodic journals. So that you can copy easily.

Thank you both for the response.

Billur - they are currently using Periodic Journals but this specific journal entry is not recurring. Plus, they want to avoid multiple mouse clicks to copy 1-2 Journal entries.

Anthony Blake - I advised them to use Excel Add-In unfortunately they are looking for this function directly in D365, while they are entering transactions in Journal batches. Like how we are able to copy paste data directly on a spreadsheet versus opening another form to enter data.
