Hi experts,

will ,i be able to access LCS environment for free Trial, if i am not customer or partner to Microsoft i want to do integration of d365 FO and power platform as practice what to do. it must to be a customer or partner of Microsoft. Any alternative.

Hi Shabir,

If you have an organizational account, an administrator can acquire a 30-day trial license for Dynamics 365. This includes the option to use e.g. Dual Write.

Can you elaborate on what actions you would like to try out as part of integrations? There are limitations how you can use this trial.

Hi,

As Andrew suggested, you can deploy trial environment from power platform admin portal.

Below is a video for a step by step guide on how to deploy trial environment.

I watched the video, there i didn't find "Market place" or "D365 F&O" option for trial as in the starting of the video session. Please check the screen shot

I have already D365 FO VM Demo as well as access to Power platform. just i want to go LCS from there i want to set new enviroment then select integration for power platform. Now i have access to power platform and D365 VM but no access to LCS.

Hi Shabir,

I wasn't fully focusing on PPAC. The documentation I shared will tell you how to acquire a trial license. In case you don't see the Market Place option, you can go to the Billing section via the menu. Then choose Purchase services (I thought). You can then search for Dynamics 365 solutions offering a trial option.

Note that these trials are free, but need to be deployed from PPAC. There is no free trial that can be deployed from LCS. WIthout LCS, you can also test or try integrations with the Power Platform.

As asked before, what exactly do you want to achieve with a trial environment? Note that the trial will not support to perform or deploy customizations into the F&O environment. You can connect with the Power Platform by e.g. creating a Power Automate flow.

Hi both thanks for your replies,

My requirement is

Creating a new data entity in d365 FO and enable virtual data entity source to provide Dual Write capability
1) Create Data entity
2) Enable setup for Virtual Data Entity Source
3)Create Power Apps access Dynamics data- Dual Write
