Data import export - Open balance - target missing lines

Hi everyone,

when importing a general journal with historical gl balances by periods, with the open balance data entity, we are getting, for example, 12000  lines in staging but at target, we are only receiving 1000 lines and there is no error log or any exceptions provided.

I originally thought the accounting structure could be at fault so we created an "all allowed" structure for the import but the result is unchanged.

Has anyone ever seen such problem?

thank you.

    Hi Pierre,

Did you provide a correct journal number and unique line numbers for all lines in the source file? Can you also see which lines are correctly imported and which aren't? Or are all lines marked as imported successfully?

Yes, the journal number was provided on each line, as well as a unique line number.

When i view staging data i can see some lines failed on target while other did not. But i don't any difference on these lines that would justify errors.

which file type are you using ? CSV ?

Can you share the values for one line which ax failed to import.

if you are using  CSV make sure the amount in the debit and credit don't have include comma

    Hi Pierre,

You can do a quick check for the main accounts you are providing that are created/present in AX or not.
