how i will get sales tracker in report dialog?

hi all,

i am working on a report. that need sales tracker as report parameter means in report dialog,'

1. how i will get sales tracker in report dialog?

2. how the sales tracker is related with sales id? i need relation between table.

i have searched, but not get proper answer...

please give me more shed on this.

    Hi @rp@n,

    1. The sales taker is just a worker. So you can use any EDT with relation to HcmWorker table, like HcmWorkerRecId.

    2. Sales taker is selected on sales order on the header level. I guess your requirement is to filter out orders for a report by sales taker and in this case you just need add filter by related field in SalesTable with the value from the dialog.

    What report you trying to modify? Is it standard report or custom report.

    Yes Sergei,

    In my report dialog I have

    From date , to date, customer group, sales tracker.

    Kindly let me know how I will get name and I'd in sales tracker drop down?

    HI @rp@n,

    You can check your contract class and DP class, and your dataset field, which  EDT is used.

    Then in EDT, expand Table relations, there will be a field of data source, the value you select in the drop-down box comes from there.

    This is excel export report. Not having do or controller class.

    I have already checked it's coming from dirpartytable.nane field.( sales tracker )

    So, I am asking how will get I'd a d name field as a drop down in sales tracker?

    hi @rp@n,

    If you can, change the type of the parameters in the DP class and contract class, and change the field EDT in your data set, just like when you add a parameter when creating a new report, just change it to other parameter.

    No, that's not what Sergei said. "You can use any EDT with relation to HcmWorker table, like HcmWorkerRecId" does not mean that you must create a new EDT. Use HcmWorkerRecId and you'll see that it indeed works.

    By the way, it's sales taker, not sales tracker.
