How can I cancel this Data Management job? I ran it without using a batch job.

It seams that the link that you have pasted in your reply is of different post (How can I configure the Product Lifecycle State to block users from creating a Sales Order?) Can you recheck and update.

Try opening the execution log from the job history and deleting it, This stops the data management job.
