I have become pretty good at designing MS Word Dynamics 365 Templates.

Below is a screen shot of my quotedetail repeating items.

IQuoteTemplate.PNG

However i would like a field that would display a pre-tax amount per quote line item.

PRODUCT NAME | List Price | Discount | Tax | (List Price - Discount)

I can't find the field in the API reference

    Right. I get it now.

Unfortunately we don't have qty volume discounts. Infact we will only ever sell 1 qty of each product. (Events)

    We only have manual discount.

I would have thought baseamount would include the manual discount.

Yes the Amount fields factor in discount but not Manual Discount. It factors volume discount. In your table, you have used manual discount.

    priceperunit does not subtract discount

    baseamount does not subtract discount

extendedamount does subtract discount but also adds tax

I am using baseamount field as List Price.

According to the API documentation this should factor in the discount but it clearly is not.

    API documentation:

    baseamount Edm.Decimal

Shows the total price of the quote product, based on the price per unit, volume discount, and quantity.

    Hi,

The list price you have in that list should be the pre tax amount. The schema name is priceperunit

    Hope this helps.
