Is there a way to determine the total the quantity of sales orders for the week?

After running the planning worksheets (MPS & MRP) and carrying out my action plan, the different items that will be produced for the week are populated.  Is there a way to determine the total number of items scheduled for this weeks production?  Another wrinkle is that since the production BOM's include labels and cases they are included in the output.  Is there a way to filter just for items and determine the weekly total?  Thank you, in advance.

    Hello John,

The amount scheduled for the week can be queried if you know T-SQL. You can query it from the [...$Prod_ Order Line] table using the [Quantity] or [Remaining Quantity] fields. This is the more advanced approach but sky is the limit.

More simply, if go to the Released Production Orders list page in NAV you can filter the list by Due Date range to see only what is on order for the week, choose the columns you'd like to see, and then you can send to excel from there.

You could also find a solution with a system report by filtering - such as running the "Prod. Order - List" report with certain filters (see example screen shot. *Omit the Source No filter if you want all items for the date range):

I had developed a custom report for this so I don't use the system reports on that but you should be able to get what you want finding a report with filters and sending to excel:
