You can use third party integration to send out Digital Receipts through SMS or WhatsApp.

They can build integration for your POS though which you can send out Digital Receipt after each sale in your store.

This will need customization. If you can customize AX to send receipt in plain text format in email, you can easily take it forward by using the email to text feature provided almost all sms gateways to deliver the text message to customer.

As far i know, there is not an inbuilt functionality to send SMS from POS terminal.You need to do customization for that.

I agree with Nuno. You can set receipt print fro customer by POS , Email and Both.
As far I know, you need to customize to achieve that. In the standard, you can only send the receipt by e-mail.
