Integrate data between Dataverse and Azure SQL Database

I have a requirement to push data in the dataverse to land in Azure SQL database.

The data is coming from data entities out of D365 Finance & operations. I was considering using the BYOD data management feature within dynamics 365 instead to schedule incremental exports from D365 to Azure DB directly. I cam across some other methods online such as using Azure data factory instead to push data from Dataverse (which are entities in d365) to Azure DB. I also saw that the data lake storage account may be required for this.

Can you please suggest me the best way to accomplish this? I would like to optimize for simplicity, efficiency, and cost-efficiency. At first, it seemed to me that BYOD would be the simplest and best option, but I have seen conflicting opinions online. Please let me know what you suggest and how you would go about it.

Thanks in advance!
