frx not generating reports

We are using FRx version 6.7. Normally, when my user clicks the "Generate Report" button, it asks for a login. After the appropriate credentials are entered, a report pops up in Excel. For some reason, after the credentials are entered, nothing happens. There are no error messages or anything. Any suggestions would be helpful. If this is not the appropriate place to post this, please let me know where it belongs. Thanks.

Hi Otis,

A few issues could be occuring. Here are some things to check.

1. Instead of clicking generate, click File | Generate. Make sure that the report is not getting stuck to a Report Server which may not be installed or running.

2. Create a new catalog and associate the previous row, column, and tree. Save the catalog and try generating again. Try generating to DrillDown Viewer instead of Excel.

3. Try creating a simple new report with just a few accounts in the row format and a simple DESC, GL YTD column.

4. Check the Windows Application Event Log for any error messages.
