Dynamics AX Financials certification

Hi,

I have some confusions regarding Microsoft Dynamics AX Financial certification exam and want some clarification. There are two different exams I can see which are related to Finance as shown below:

MB6-895: Financial Management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

MB6-893: Microsoft Dynamics AX - Financials

Both exams show credit toward MCSE certification, but on MCSE page, only MB6-893 is mentioned. Below is the link:

May be because MB6-895 exam has recently been made available earlier this month.

Can anyone please confirm if both exams are same and has credit toward MCSE, or only the latest exam i.e. MB6-895 is valid ?

    Hi,

    You can go for MB6-895 as it is latest(published on Nov 3, 2017) and MB6-893 is going to get retired on Dec 31st 2017.

    Thanks Chaitanya for prompt response. Yes, I did see that MB6-895 has recently been published. Will go for this one, but not sure why they are retiring development exam MB6-890. Looks like this will be replaced by MB6-894 - Development, Extensions and Deployment for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Below is the link:

    The published date on the above exam is December 04, 2017 which is yet to come. So, if someone wants to do development exam as well as financial exam, they should go for MB6-894 and MB6-895.
