Are are working with dynamics sales for a couple of weeks now. Unfortunately we already made some customizations within the Default Solution. Is there a "best way" how to create a Custom Solution now and migrate the changes already to in the Default Solution to the new Custom Solution?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Sebastian,

I think what you can do is to create an unmanaged solution and add the components you worked on and work on this custom solution from now.

    Hi Sebastian,

You can create new solutions from Settings -> Solutions and add existing components in it.

Refer below links to create new solution and add existing components:
    docs.microsoft.com/.../create-solution

    I hope it helps,

    Thanks.

    Hello Sebastian Berndt,

There are two types of solution avialable.

    1. Managed --> You cannot customize after imported from one organization to another

    2. Un-Managed --> You can Customize after imported from One Organization to Another

    Hi,

You will need to create new solution and add the components which you have customized manually in your new solution.

Then export the new solution and import it into your target instance.

There is no automated way to move the customization from Default solution to New solution. It has to be done manually.

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!
