Courses or Certification for MS Dynamics NAV 2016

Hello,

anyone has informations about italian courses/certification from Microsoft or Microsoft Partners regarding development in Microsoft Dynamics NAV?

Hi Massimo,

As you probably know certification has been abondoned by MS and picked op by the Associaton of Dynamics Professionals: http://www.dynamicspro.org.

With the certification MS has also stopped updating the courseware, so we only have standard courseware of NAV 2013, which in many aspects is still usable, but of course does not contain any changes in NAV since 2013, like eventing, extensions, etc.

But basicly it's still usable. It can still be downloaded form PartnerSource. Note that this is all in English. I am not aware that development courseware was translated to Italian in the past.

For Certification :-

As you already know, Microsoft has canceled official exams for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Currently, three exams for NAV still exists, but only for NAV 2013.

In the close future, the Association of Dynamics Professionals will continue with certification exams for NAV and GP. First, we can expect two new exams for NAV 2015 at the fall this year. After that, it will be continued. You can find more about it on http://www.dynamicspro.org/.

There is no anymore certification for NAV, provided officially by Microsoft. Now there has been a new independent 3rd party for handling certifications: www.dynamicspro.org/home

For training you can refer e.g.: community.dynamics.com/.../186399 or search on PinPoint (pinpoint.microsoft.com) relative training partner close to your location.

Hi Massimo,

There is no any Microsoft Certification currently available for NAV, though you can always go for other related Certifications like MS SQL Server.

In Addition DynamicsPro is a organization that has also stated certification process and it is supported by number of Microsoft Certified companies like archerpoint.
