Clear All Personalization for Journal Screen

I had previously personalized the General Journal screen, and would now like to remove the personalization.  I understand this is done with the "Clear Personalization" option on the specific screen or with the clear all personalization under the user screen.  However I can't seem to get it back to its original state.  I can add a new personalized item and clear it.  But I cannot clear the entire screen or clear previously personalized items.  The first screenshot below is my screen with the prior personalization.  The second screenshot is the original state of the screen.  
 
Is there a step or something that I am missing?  Please advise.  Thank you.

    If clearing personalization doesn't solve the problem, you can try using profiles (roles) to resolve it. Find the current role and use page customization to solve the issue.

    This is not because of Personalization.
     
    This is different view of the Journal Page.
    You can toggle between the two under 'Page'->'Show More/Fever Columns'
