How to Grant users access to Reassign workflow work items

I would like to grant my accounting management team the ability to reassign workflow items.  I do not see a Duty or Privilege out of the box to do this, so I am attempting to create a new privilege.  I've gone through several iterations without success.  Currently, my privilege has the following:  Action menu items: WorkflowStatusReassignWorkItem, Display menu items: WorkFlowStatus, WorkFlowStatusDetail, Entities:

WorkflowWorkItemQueueAssigneeEntity, WorkflowWorkItemQueueAssignmentEntity, WorkflowWorkItemQueueAssignmentRuleEntity.

I then assigned this privilege to my Accounting Management role.  After having one of my accounting managers logout and back in, she does not even see the Workflow status section on the Workflow History screen.  I'm am at a loss on what else to throw in.

Also, if anyone has some tips on how to identify the Entities or actions to which you would like to grant access, I would appreciate it.  I find myself stumbling through the Duties and Privileges lists filtering by keywords and granting stuff until I get the desired result.  Surely, there is a better method.

    Hi,

It seems that Microsoft has updated the privileges names.

I have just did it with the following privileges:

    Maintain workflow instances

    View workflow history

    I hope this helps

The Security tools is for AX 2012.  We are running D365FO, so I don't think it will work for us.  The suggested privileges did solve my issues.  Thank.

Hi Mark, please separate individual tags with comma. You created a single long tag "Security Roles Duties Privileges Workflow Reassign Work Item User".

    Hello Mark,

There are 2 privileges needed to reassign workflow items.

    1st Privilege is WorkflowManageWorkflowInstances

    2nd Privilege is WorkflowViewWorkflowHistory

The best way to track down security privileges or duties needed for deferent actions or modules is to get the Security Development tool.  Click link below is to get instructions on how to download and install this tool.
