Dynamics CRM OOB feature for status and status reason is not working

Hi,

I have created a custom entity and placed OOB Status and Status Reason option set fields on the form When the user manually select Status: active then in the Status Reason field is filtering and the active option is available to select, But when the user is selecting Status: inactive, then Staus reason field still hold active it's not filtering it.
It should filter it and show the only an inactive option to select.

Example: Status : Active, Inactive

Status Reason: For Status Active: Open, In progress

For Status Inactive: Completed, Canceled

I have tried this in the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365, 2019 release wave 2 enabled, Server version: 9.1.0000.14759

Please kindly help with it. Thanks!

Hi,

I assume you've already tried with the status transitions right ?

Thank you, But I don't require status transitions.

When i select status option then status reason should get filtered based on status selection. But this is not working, its OOB feature.
