Need Help - currency error in in F&O Report

I have a problem with D365 F&O reporting. When I run a report to show debit transactions balance and Credit transactions balance in sperate columns for specific balance sheet account in entity currency, it shows the correct result but when I change the currency it shows wrong value for debit transactions balance.

Note:

The account has no debit transactions in report period ( Current fiscal year )
This error only happened with this account
I can’t drill down this wrong number to the source transaction
This Error happened only with current fiscal year, but the report works correctly with pervious fiscal year
When I tracked the wrong value shown in the report, I found it match to all debit transactions in pervious fiscal year
Pervious fiscal year-end closing entries are posted correctly and trial balance have no issues with opening balances or closing balances

Would any one help me to fix this

Hi,

Can you elaborate on your question? Which exact report are you running and how or where do you change the currency?

Data might be coming from currency converison.

What's actual report name Management Report or SSRS( Custom or Standard)?

Hi,

Is it related to Management reporter in D365FO? I am assuming this because of one line mentioned in question that you are unable to drill down to transaction.

If answer is yes, please share the screen shot of report designer - row definition and column definition..

And if it is data related issue then Data reset is one of the option that we used in past to resolve this types of issues.

I understand that the first screenshot is for Local Currency or Accounting currency, and the second one is for foreign currency /reporting currency.

Could you share few more information in excel for the below -

1. Closing balance for Interest payable for previous year in Local and Reporting currency.

2. Opening balance for Interest payable in current year in Local and Reporting currency.

3. Current year transactions for interest payable, if any.

Also, please confirm did the team have posted any currency revaluations or not.

Appreciate, if we can get the details for Report Definition***(Screenshots), Row Definition and Column definition in the Excel format.
