Hi guys i have a situation, i have fixed assets like motor vehicle so if i purchase a motor vehicle then later on i buy lets say a canope i dont know what others call it, that part that close the back of an open truck and its gets fixed on the vehicle. How do i cater for this scenario in finance and operations

Fixed Asset Value

Hi,

Can you describe your required process after acquiring the addition to the asset? There are options to adjust the value of the motor vehicle, but you can also decide to have a separate asset and link them via an asset hierarchy. Can the "canope" be disassembled and used for another vehicle in the future?
