Hi guys;

We’re migrating our Dynamics Crm environment from 8.2 to 9.1, and unfortunately so many options related To the business process flow are now deprecated like set Progress, setprocessrequest fields like processId etc.

our need is To change the Bpf of opportunity automatically based on a form’s field.

And I’m asking what’s the best way To reach that

Thank you guys in advance

    Hi,

Do you have any official reference where it says SetProcess step in workflow is deprecated?

Thank you guys for your answers, but a custom workflow and the action setProcess is deprecated in V9

you can see all the changes in the link below

Concerning javascript, it's not an option for us. Our Client refuse using it

    Hi,

The easiest way to change BPF is by creating a real time workflow and use Setprocess step/ action. refer below links:

    www.powerobjects.com/.../change-business-process-flows-using-workflow

    www.youtube.com/watch

If you wan to change the BPF stage then also you can use workflow-

    dynamics365blocks.wordpress.com/.../how-to-change-bpf-stages-automatically-using-workflow-in-dynamics-365

    blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../automate-business-process-flow-stages-using-workflows

If you want to use JavaScript, you can refer below link:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../formcontext-data-process

    Hope this helps.

    Hi partner,

It is possible to change the bpf based on field.

My suggestion is that you could use custom workflow to achieve this.

    Here is a same sample.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards
