Hi,
Is AX 2012 R3 supported on Windows Server 2019?
If not, is there any expectation that it will be in the future?

Let's look at AX 2012 System Requirements (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11094)
First of all, in the front page it says: This is the final planned list of system requirements as of September 2017. Microsoft does not plan to add support for additional products or product versions. However, new service packs and other updates of the currently supported product versions will still be supported.
And, on "Supported server operating systems" it says that the latest supported Windows Server version is Windows Server 2016.
So, Windows Server 2019 is not supported and will not be supported.

Hi Felix,
If you are talking about a production environment then I'd rather play safe and go by Nikolaos advice. Who knows what problem you might run into in future that won't be supported by Microsoft.
But if you just want to run a development/test environment, then I have already done a Test/Dev setup on Windows Server 2019 Datacenter edition and I haven't faced any issues till date.
