What settings stops a primary key from being renamed.

Its occurring only for few tables example MarkupTable.

There are other table records that were renamed at different instance.

The rename button is not available for the misc charge form.

Tried the function renameprimarykey but in vain.

So wondering what could prevent the functionality ?

    Hi, the rename functionality requires a single field primary key like AccountNum in CustTable. In this case, the MarkupTable table has two fields which together are the primary key (at least in AX2012), so the rename key button is not available when the view record info dialog is displayed.

    With these restrictions on can we still rename the primary key in case of misc charge table ? If so how please share
