    RE: Roll Up Filed Calculation

Roll-up fields update once in 24 hours. If you want to see the latest value specific to a field, you can click on refresh icon in the field. It will update the value specific to the field.

    RE: Roll Up Filed Calculation

I am afraid the control on roll up field is not with the user. System automatically updates all roll-up fields every 24 hours.

There are no on-demand run functionality available for multiple records.

On-demand run is for single roll-up field at a time.

    Hi Diwakar,

We can set Calculate Rollup Field job to run every hour.

You can monitor Mass Calculate Rollup Field and Calculate Rollup Field under Systems jobs entity using “Recurring System Jobs” view as:

    • Go to Settings -> System Jobs. Select Recurring System Jobs view from dropdown
    • Apply filter on System Job Name contains “entity name”

As mentioned above, Mass Calculate Rollup Field job is executed in 12 hours after Rollup field is created or updated. But in case you do not want to wait for 12 hours and have first instance of job to be started immediately, follow below steps:

    • Out of 2 jobs shown in above snapshot, double click on “Mass Calculate Rollup Field” Job
    • Select Actions menu in top navigation and Click on “Resume option”. This option will initiate the job right away instead of waiting for 12 hours.

Once Mass Calculate Rollup Field job is executed successfully, Calculate Rollup Field job will kick in and run every hour for any incremental changes on existing records.
