Hi sanme98,
CustTrans table is where all customer related transactions are saved. Payments, sales, journals (all types) ... all of the transactions/activity of the customers are saved in that table. Even the unposted ones. Is the same information you can check in Customers - Transactions form.
Regards,
CustTrans can contain any type of customer transaction.
so you are confuse with other tables and thinking why CustTrans if other tables are there ???
okay so
SalesTable with contain only list of sale order
CustInvoiceJour, & CustInvoiceTable will conatin only customer invoices information
now go back to my 1st sentence where I said "any type of transactions"
lest's suppose, there is a payment made by customer, where payment entry will be saved?
will payment information to be saved in CustInvoiceJour, & CustInvoiceTable??? NO because these tables are related to invoices; not related to payment.
Hi Sanme98, Custtrans table will contain the posted transaction information for the customer as mentioned by Jonathan / Sohiab. For more details refer msdn.microsoft.com/.../custtrans.aspx
CustTrans Table: The CustTrans table contains the posted transaction information for the customer.
CustTransOpen Table: The CustTransOpen table contains transaction information when in an unsettled state.
