Cannot export because display field names are duplicated

When I export all the fields in the specific entity choosing "static worksheet(page only)" from advanced find, the error message comes out "generate excel file error". I know its reason that there are duplicated field names. But I'm sure the system has its unique field names separately from display names. How can I export all the data in the entity to avoid having error? I cannot change display name.

Thank you so much. We have so many same display names in one entity. I understand that we should change those names as unique.

Hi tomoko,

As Beth explained, we cannot export data to Excel unless the fields have no duplicate display name.

Although there are "name" and "display name" for fields in D365, there is no such distinction in Excel.

Excel has only one field name, the display name exported from D365.

So in order for the exported Excel to work properly, the display names of the fields exported from D365 must be different.

You CANNOT export unless the display names are different. Doesn't matter if the field names are unique.
