Data Lake integration

We have managed to extract finops data to the data lake using the entity store. To look through the data we tried to access it over power bi following (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/datalakestorage) without success.

Some questions:

What is the preferred way to investigate the data (I am not aware that ssms can connect)? If PowerBI anyone give us some assistance here

Further if we would like to integrate the data lake into our warehouse what is the recommended way? For boyd we currently use a linked server and a gateway selecting new data through the export timestamps. How would this look in the data lake?

Azure Data Lake looks more like a file storage than a relational database, therefore SSMS isn't the right tool. But you can use Azure Storage Explorer.
