How do I make the asset tag field in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service searchable

I am trying to search customer assets by their Asset Tag. No matter what I try, the search comes up empty. I have scanned barcode, copied from the asset tag field in case there were unseen characters. I have typed it in by hand. Same result each time.

Any ideas?

Thanks

    Hi there!

To make Asset Tag searchable, you need to make sure the field is indexed and included in Quick Find View.
Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System
In solutions explorer > Expand all Entities
    Find Customer Asset
    Click on Views
    Open Quick Find View
Add the Asset Tag field to the view by clicking on Add Find Columns and then selecting Asset Tag
    Save & Publish your changes

    Next
Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System
    Again, Entities > Customer Asset
    Click on Fields this time
    Find the Asset Tag field
Ensure that "Searchable" is set to YES
    Save & publish changes

Lastly, you can go to Settings > Administration > System Settings
Find the General Tab > Relevance Search section & click on Reindex

This should allow you to then search!!

    hope this helps some!

    HI,
Go to makers portal (https://make.powerapps.com/)> go to the default solution and the solution if you already have.
    Again, Entities > Customer Asset
    Click on Fields this time
    Find the Asset Tag field
Ensure that "Searchable" is set to YES
then to views and add tag field into the quick find view.
    Save & publish changes

    Thanks,
    Fahmeeda
