i have seen many blogs regarding upgrade from CRM2016 to Dynamics 365 , all blogs mentioned in place upgrade can be done by installing windows update . Here my question : can i download Dynamics crm update from link and install directly on Dynamics CRM2016 server to upgrade to 365

i do not want to install windows update on my test environment .
i think when we download file from windows update manually we get same the file same as from www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx
