Navigation in the new email designer

Posted on by 10

With the upcoming October update forcing the switch to the new email design experience, is it going to be possible to navigate to other marketing emails in the current view from the sidebar like there is currently?

There doesn't seem to be any option to do so in its current state, there's only a back button and no "open record set" button.

I hope there's a way to customize this because it would be a huge step backwards in terms of efficiency if my team would have to back out of marketing emails, return to the list and then open others.

    Hi Tej,

    Thank you for the question!

It is still possible to customize the menu in the new email editor.
You can add the "open record set" button into the menu shown below:

    Certainly:

My apologies if I was unclear. I'm not referring to real-time marketing emails. The record set button is also gone from the non-real-time email editor

    Hi,

As you can see, the real-time marketing email does not provide the `open record set` button in outbound marketing. This is by design.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Frank Gong
