Lookup only showing one column name from a related table's autoidentification group

Hi,

I am using a EDT (VendAccount) to show a value on a form. The edt is related to Table 1 (VendTable) which has two fields in autolookup ( accountnum, party) and party is realted to Table2 (DirPartyTable) which has two fields in Autoidentificaiton group (Name and Name Alias). I've added Name Alias.

Lookup for VendAccount on the form shows the 3 columns Accountnum, Name and Name Alias, but the column header for Name and Name Alias are grouped  into one and only Show Name. Does anyone know why this is happening and what's the way to rectify it?

you can customize the lookup to return all the columns you need.

yeah I was trying to do it the standard way as it needs to reflected throughout the system. but if that doesn't work, ill customize it. it's just weird that it only shows name doesnt matter what column is palced in auto identificaiton group.

So I am good with the 2 fields that show from that group, but the problem is the column caption. It only shows one if you see the image attached

I know, I saw the picture.

you need to decide which fields to display.
