Dear team,

       Greetings for the day, Here i have doubt on batch jobs!

My Question1, I set a batch job at 10:00am but now the time is 9.00am. So how system will run a batch exact at 10:00am and how the system encounter that time? which class and method will execute this batch job?

and

My Question2, How many times that method will execute in a minute?

    AX looks for batches to run every minute. Look at BatchRun class (e.g. serverGetTask() method). Also don't forget that even BatchRun class can be debugged, therefore you can walk through the executed code step by step to see what it does.

            Very thanks for your reply, Happy to get solution to my question. i have small doubt on this! Is that method will execute only once in a minute not every second?

    It used to be once per minute, but I don't currently have access to AX 2012 code to verify how it looks like there (I'm sitting at an airport). You can review the code and/or debug it, so give it a try.

        You are Great. Even i observed that, we cannot set a batch job for seconds, it must be in minutes so it will run once per minute. Thanks for your valuable time for me.
