Hello,

I cant find Security configuration red area, in privileges. Can you help ? the user should be able to change no to yes and at the moment they can only see but not make changes.

Hi Metehandayal,

Does any other user have he right to do so? That might be the first thing to confirm.

If there is, then you can check the person's roles to find the particular role that gives access to the action.

Hi Metehandanyal,

There are functional and security-related causes for having the field not enabled.

In case there is a pending workflow or it was started as read-only the controls are not editable.

Security wise, the checkbox control has a property Needed Permission set to Manual. In that case, via the privilege, you can add form control permissions. You can check if Read and Update permissions are granted for this form control (Form: VendInvoiceMatchingDetails, Control: PurchParmTable_VarianceApproved).

Hi Metehandanyal,

Assign the following privileges, duties and the respective security role to have the ability to approve or reject matching vendor invoices.

These are the privileges, duties and roles associated with the Purchase invoice matching details approval components and there is a menu item called PurchInvoiceMatchingDetails (Matching details).

1. Security Privileges:

- VendInvoiceApproveMaintain (Approve vendor invoice task)

- VendInvoiceAssignToQueuesThatIBelongView (View vendor invoices in queues that the user belongs to)

- VendInvoiceInfoAssignedToMeListPageView (View pending vendor invoices assigned to me list page) (Add this only if the approvals are done through
workflow queues)

2. Security Duties:

- VendInvoiceVendorInvoiceApprove (Approve vendor invoices)

- VendInvoiceVendorInvoiceStatusInquire (Inquire into vendor invoice status) (Add this only if the approvals are done through workflow queues)

3. Security Roles:

- Accounts Payable Clerk

- Accounts Payable Manager
