Hi All,

I am new to AX integration development. Today I have one doubt on AX (Currently I am working on AX 2009).

Is there any Table ( or Console level)  to check the Order Record history infomration ( any module)  ?.

For example:

If one order has place by me ,then after then i edited that order record and modified some thing in that order. After then someone edited the same order and updated with prices or shipping method .

Now i want to know that order history information as like this user edited this order record on some other day (with date) .

Can any one please clarify me ?

Thansk in advanced,

Pavan

You can setup the Database log functionality to capture changes in selected tables and fields. But please be aware that it will add performance overhead, and is not recommended to be used in transaction tables.

    Thank you for responding @Nikolaos.

I will try in my local Database which s testing purpose Database.

Is there any special process to put Log functionality in Database?.

If yes, please provide the Process.

    Thanks you,

    Pavan

You set it up by a wizard, nothing special there. Since AX2009 is not supported anymore, the official documentation is not available online anymore. But you can search the web for discussions, blogs etc.

    Hi Pavan,

In D365FinOps you can use the Logging database changes wizard to set up database logging. This wizard provides a flexible way to set up logging for tables or fields and it can be accessed from System administration > Setup > Database > Database log setup. Then select New to open the Logging database changes wizard

Here is a documentation describing how to configure and manage database changes that can be tracked (insert, update, delete, and rename key operations):
    docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-manage-database-log

    With kind thoughts,
    Laura
