Can I completely remove payroll in GP

Hi,

We are not using GP Payroll because employees of the company are all over the world.

I would like to clean it up so it does not show as an option to users. I want to remove the tasks and roles assigned to it and not show the menus on it.

Can this be done?

If yes, can someone please point me to a guide or give some steps on how to accomplish this?

Payroll is part of the core GP program and cannot be removed. However you can go to Tool->Setup->System->Registration and unclick the Payroll module. This will remove it from all menus.
