Hi,

I'm trying to set up a parent account with many child accounts in d365fo accounts receivable.

I want the parent to be invoiced (parent handles payment) but I want the invoice to also appear in the child account so we can send each child their own statements and maintain the details of payments/settlements/transactions.

Is this configuration possible?

Hy,

you can use "invoice account" (on invoice and delivery fasttab) to assign the parent account on the master data of the child accounts. So place and process the sales order on the child account, and the invoice account (of the parent) is inherited to the sales ordes as invoice account.

Will the invoice also appear in the child account? Or will it only appear on the parent?

Hi,

No, The invoice will only appear in the Invoice account, not in customer account.

Not really by standard solution, however you can think of some custom report where this can be catered.
