Hello,
Our Dynamics 365 is synchronised with 3rd party system for data synchronisation.
We want to introduce form field text validation for couple of entities with rules i.e. length of characters, Capitalise city name, numeric only etc.
I am aware that this can be achieved through Javascript and Plugin. May be part of it through OOB.
Which option will be best and comprehensive to achieve this? If plugin then what stage pre-valid, pre-op, post-op?

Hi,
You can use javascript firstly before saving your form then you can use plugin (optional) on pre-validation or pre-operation stages to validate your data. If you use plugin you can also validate your requests that performed without form (for exp: directly from console app using IOrganizationService or WebAPI)
