Dynamics 365 Finance - Moving from cloud to on-premise

Hello,

Is it possible to move from cloud based D365 Finance to an on-premise deployment?

On-premise deployment can mean different things:

- Move the live environment to an Azure server which is managed by the company and not Microsoft.

- Move the live environment to another hosting provider or an internal server?

If there are any resources on this topic, it would be very helpful if you could point me in the right direction.

    the first option (running on-prem version in the cloud) is not supported: docs.microsoft.com/.../on-premises-overview

    Thank you. This is very useful. There is nothing in the guidance on moving from cloud to on-premise.

    Is there any automated option?

    Presumably, we can take a database copy from a cloud server and deploy it to a on-premise solution?

    I also recommend you to contact Microsoft to get some technical guidance, as well as instructions on how to handle the licensing.
