Full User licensing question. Windows client. NAV 2016

I've noticed that if I create 2 full users in NAV, for example USER1 and USER2, if they both log in at the same time, The cost is 2 licenses. If I try to login with another username, I get license error: "”Your program license does not permit more users to work simultaneously"

However, If I create a user called for example SALES, and 2 people login at the same time with this username, the cost is only 1 license. If another user logs in with a different username, for example PURCHASE, I do not get license error.

So my questions:

- Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

- Can 2 people share the same username, or do we need to 2 licenses even if they share the same username.

Basically there main 2 user type on NAV

    1. Full User

    2. Limited User

System license are counting only concurrent users logins (Several user IDs login at the same time)

go to your development environment to check how many concurrent user license you have

If you exceeding the no of Full user / limited  user login at the same time than your license amount

your above error message will displayed "Your program license does not permit more users to work simultaneously"

But remember from 1 user ID can share 100 times (share user login) it will not count as concurrent user

ill will count as same user but when you going to post option , if anybody been doing some operations it will raise error

    ----

Basically that option didn't use as generally because its under (Password sharing) violation

If any auditors with to they will raise as this finding (actually its a system feature log one users with several places , if not expire no need to login again)

Sharing user 1  per many belongs to your company and your audit structure
