Accessing Dynamics 365 Online analytics data for custom Power BI dashboard

Hi folks,

I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to ask this but does anyone know if it's possible to access the data that is used on the Common Data Service for Apps analytics? I'd like to create my own organisational Power BI dashboards with pieces of information from different areas. For example, I'd like to be able to show a chart with the breakdown of storage by instance for my organisation. I'd like to show the percentage of our total tenant storage for dynamics that we've used, that kind of thing - but I can't find where the data is stored and how to access it.

Hi Matt,

I would suggest you with following article to build Power BI reports for the Common Data Service for Apps

powerapps.microsoft.com/.../cds-for-apps-powerbi

More MS docs like Finding your Common Data Service for Apps Environment URL:

docs.microsoft.com/.../data-platform-powerbi-connector

You could display the entity data in report while the Org storage of your tenant wouldn't be accessable in report.

In addition, you could get the D365 Org table details report from MS official support by raising tickets.
